Serck UK host 2007 User Conference

The Serck UK 2007 User Conference entitled
“The value of real time operational information within an asset based enterprise”
was recently held at the impressive 17th century Bosworth hall in Warwickshire.

This event was attended by in excess of 70 delegates from all industry sectors, including, Water Utilities, Oil& Gas operators, Government Agencies, Renewable Energy companies and Broadcast infrastructure providers.

The focus of this event was driving business benefit by the effective use of time series, asset based information within the wider enterprise. This topic was explored by analysing the role of SCX6 applications within the enterprise model and was supported by a series of solution based papers and demonstrations showing that SCX6 has more to offer the enterprise than a traditional SCADA application. The reality of derived business benefit was provided by the presentation of extremely interesting user papers from National Grid Gas and Eon.

For the more technically minded delegates, in addition to the main conference there were equipment demonstrations from other members of the SCADA Group of companies, such as Trio Radios and CMI.

The event generated much interest in the breadth of the SCADA Group of companies and the value that this can bring to an asset based organisation
